What Makes M.E. Different?
Creating hair clips began as a simple craft project: Make a few Clippies for our little girl.
We weren’t satisfied with the quality of clips found at department stores and prices for boutique hair accessories were astronomical–especially if clips were lost or broken soon after they were purchased. We knew we could make them better and less expensive–plus it would be fun!
With the encouragement of friends and family, we decided to make a go of a home-based business and “All About M.E.” began to take shape eventually becoming what you see here. We have more growing to do and we look forward to what the future holds.
About our Hair Clippies and Accessories
The Clippies we make are unique and you will not see them anywhere else. Only a few pairs of each style are made – sometimes only one set is made… a true original! We like to buy a bunch of supplies, make a collage or collection and exhaust our creativity and supplies – once the ribbon and bows are used up, they may not be restocked. So if you like a Clippie, snap them up – they may not be available next time you visit us!
A few reasons we think you’ll LOVE our Clippies:
- Clippies are made with quality ribbon and embellishments.
- We use quality pinch clips, snap clips and French barrettes.
- We use Velcro to lessen the chance the Clippie will slip out of very fine hair.
- Bows are hand-made and securely tied to the clip and glued in place.
- Whenever possible, ribbon ends are heat treated and/or fray-check is applied to help prevent fraying.
- Color combinations, trimmings, accessories and clip ideas are often suggested by our “design consultants” (our children). Clippie durability is tested by them, as well!
