Handmade Skirts

handmade children toddler twirl skirts Introducing my very talented sister, Melody. This is her joy and her space to create. Here is a little bit from her:

“Why do I do what I do? The answer is simple. I like to take material that would normally be tossed out and create something unique with it. I enjoy seeing a little girl thrilled when she puts on one of my skirts, twirl in it and dress up in it – she is expressing herself by what she wears. I especially love seeing my own girls put on my skirts and twirl in them. I know you will experience the same joy when your little girl dresses up in one of my beautiful “scraps”.

A word about measurements: The waist measurement is based on the elastic at resting width to it’s full extendability.
