Looking for a Clippie Model

I just have to accept it. My daughter, Marin (after whom this business is named, by the way), is just not into clippies that much. Oh, she’ll wear them (most of the time) – but she is definitely NOT interested in being a willing model. I have begged and bribed her a couple of times (of which I am not proud) when I’ve been really desperate but she just doesn’t want to sit and pose and smile for the camera. If she is sitting still, her finger is up her nose and I’m not fast enough to get a cute picture before she gets a booger.

Fine. Moving on.

So! Needless to say, I am looking for new hair accessory models.

Model A: Between the ages of 4-8.
Model B: Between the ages of 9-13.

Prize: Each winner will receive a $50 gift certificate towards purchase at our online store (free shipping, tax not included). As a bonus, I will provide you with a digital copy of any picture that is taken of your child that will not be used for promoting or marketing our hair accessories. Additionally, all efforts will be made to accommodate your schedule and location.

This will not be a typical model search. I will be choosing the model myself, there will be no voting. Entrants must be in the Southern California area. All photographs will be taken by myself and will be used with the sole intention of marketing All About M.E.’s hair clips, clippies, barrettes, headbands, etc.

Those who would like to participate should submit a short description of why their entrant would make a good clippie model for All About M.E. Please include their age. I’m not looking for the cutest or the prettiest (anyway, aren’t they all?) or the best hair. What I’m looking for is disposition and willingness to sit still for small amounts of time… comfort in front of a camera would be a plus!

The parents of the winners must sign a model release allowing the use the winners’ likenesses for All About M.E.’s marketing and promotion material. You also understand that the photo will become public as it will be included on blogs and websites. Please visit our website to see samples of the type of product and model pictures taken before entering your child in this contest.

Entries can be submitted using our Contact Form. Please include the child’s age. Deadline for submissions is May 19th and the winners will be notified by May 26th. Photo shoot must take place within 60 days of winners being announced.

Hi – I hope this is the contact form! My daughter Tessa will be 5 in 3 weeks, so she would be available to model in the first category. She has done some modeling for fun before. She is very comfortable with people and in front of the camera while still being herself, not phony. She has the disposition to do this. My son, however, does not. He would not sit still for a moment and would pull the clippies out of his hair, if they could ever even attach to his buzz cut. Tessa, however, would be totally cool with it and would love to “earn” some clippies on her own, especially if they had animal print designs.
